Two cars, one party
Sedan seats three, SUV seats six: reserve private sedan and SUV airport transfers to MCI
Every ride the office passes on goes in one of two cars: a sedan for up to three passengers or an SUV for up to six. Read this page before you reserve private sedan and SUV airport transfers to MCI. It shows how to pick the car, what to put in the note about bags, and how child seats, a ramp or lift and a service animal are handled.

CE Travel Services is an independently owned booking office in Kansas City. Sedan or SUV, the car and the driver belong to the company on your written fare; it names a fixed rate, you pay it, and the office is paid an agreed amount by it whenever a booking is passed over.
Call +1 (816) 842-4783 Monday to Thursday from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. or Friday from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m., Central time.
Sedan for one, two or three passengers
The sedan is the smaller of the two cars, with seats for up to three passengers and a trunk for the bags. It suits a couple with checked bags, a parent with one child, or one person heading out for a work week with a carry-on and a garment bag. Children count as passengers, so a family of four needs the SUV even when the children are small.
What fits in the trunk depends on the size of the bags more than on their number, and the company that takes the ride knows its own car. Use the note on the request: write how many bags you carry and how big they are, and mention anything long or awkward, such as a folded stroller, a large instrument case or a long box. When you are unsure, describe the load and let the company judge. Nothing is fixed until you say yes to the written fare.

Choosing the SUV and writing the note
The SUV seats up to six passengers. Six people fill every seat, and a smaller party leaves room for more bags. Each place prints two from figures, one per car. From Downtown, for example, the sedan starts from $125 and the SUV from $150 each way, for the whole car.
Both figures for every place stand on the page of airport transfer rates to MCI per car, so you can weigh the difference before you choose. A few lines in the note spare the company from guessing, and they decide which car is right. Before you send the request, write down:
- how many passengers, children included
- how many checked bags and carry-ons
- anything long or bulky, like a stroller, an instrument case or a large box
- child seats you need, or a seat of your own you will bring
- your flight number, so the company can follow the landing
Child seats, from the company or your own
A child seat can reach the car in one of two ways. The first is to ask for it on the request: say how many seats you need and which kind: rear-facing, forward-facing or booster. The company that takes the ride says whether it can bring them. If it charges for a seat, that charge stands as its own line in the written fare, so you see it before you say yes.
The second way is to bring your own seat from home. Say so in the note and count it with the bags, since the seat goes with you through the airport and back. Either way, count every child as a passenger when you choose between the sedan and the SUV, and reserve the larger car if the numbers come out close.

Ramp or lift, and a service animal
If someone in your party needs a vehicle with a ramp or a lift, tick that box on the request. The company confirms in writing whether it has such a vehicle for your date and pickup time, and you read that answer before you say yes to anything. The box is all the form needs: it asks nothing about anyone's health.
A service animal rides inside the car with you. Write it in the note in a few words, so the company knows ahead of the pickup and plans the space with the passengers and the bags in mind. Nothing more is asked about the animal or about you.
Only your party rides in the car
Every ride the office passes on is private. The car carries you and the people on your request, and no other passengers are added along the way. It goes from your address straight to the departures curb on the upper level at MCI, or from the airport back to your door. If you want a second stop, ask for it; it appears as its own line in the written fare.
On the ride home, the company can follow the flight number you gave, and your written fare names how long the driver waits after your flight lands and what waiting past that costs. If you ticked the call and text box, the company texts you when the car is at the curb; without the tick, that message comes by email, and only the driver uses your number, on the day of the ride. The page on airport pickup at the arrivals curb at MCI shows the walk from baggage claim to the posts where the car meets you. Your reservation is made when the company sends its written confirmation of the pickup time.
Once the car is chosen
Reserve the car you picked
With the car chosen, the request is the next step. The office sends you a written fare by email, and after your yes the company confirms the pickup time in writing. The form is open 24/7. A request sent on a Saturday or Sunday is answered by email by 10 a.m. the next morning.

Start with the place you leave from or return to, then give the date, direction and car, with your bags in the note, and finish with your name, phone and email.
